Piazza San Pietro is one of the common places or the Papal Audience Hall. Every Wednesday, at 10 am, he appears in front of the soulful crowds. If you want to attend, book ahead at Prefettura della Casa Pontifica at least on the Monday before. Can do that by fax or in person. The San Pietro Piazza is beautiful anyway, with her centre obelisk brought by Caligula from the ancient6 Egyptian Heliopolis.
